As a church leader, what types of evangelism do you employ to reach your community? And, which method, in your opinion, is the most successful for your particular worship facility?
In a recent report conducted by Ellison Research for Lifeway Christian Resources, polling 811 Protestant church ministers nationwide across denominations, "senior ministers were asked about the activities their church has held over the past year specifically for the purpose of evangelism, as well as what types of community outreach and programs the church has offered."
Not surprisingly, the most common method is Vacation Bible School , which has been used by seven out of 10 churches for evangelism in the last year.
Is Vacation Bible School your most popular evangelism and community outreach method? And, how are adapting this method to fit your particular church?

Another popular VBS trend is the rotation model, which many curriculum publishers are incorporating into their programs, giving children the opportunity to visit various activity sites throughout the day.
With Vacation Bible School just around the corner, it's already time to start planning your program. Summer will be here before you know it. In this issue, we offer 74 tips for making your VBS a great experience this year.
