InfoComm Preview

The International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA), producer of InfoComm International, the largest conference and exhibition for the $19 billion professional audiovisual and information communications industry, is projecting record numbers of exhibitors and attendees at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 4-10, 2005. InfoComm 05 is expected to attract 25,000 attendees from more than 70 countries, showcase more than 700 exhibitors in 350,000 net square feet of exhibits and special events, and feature more than 200 educational sessions, surpassing all previous milestones in its history.

“There really is no show quite like InfoComm, where AV technologies and IT converge,” said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., Executive Director of ICIA. “Never before has our culture been so exposed to so much technology to entertain, inform and instruct. The integration solutions of IT and AV technologies that make this possible are found at InfoComm.”

Many people in the AV industry use InfoComm Week to plan for a year's worth of technology purchases, update their skills and knowledge and enjoy the vital peer networking that InfoComm provides.

Plan to attend one of the most awesome events in the professional information communications and electronics arena, and get a head start on the hottest and emerging technologies. Now that AV is everywhere, tie it all back in to the manufacturers, integrators and professionals.

The Worship market is among the top five vertical markets for AV usage, along with Corporate, Education, Government/Military and Healthcare. Almost half (48%) of North American AV Dealers are involved in the Worship market.

InfoComm is where you see the technologies, the systems and the applications for projection, display, audio, lighting, videoconferencing, streaming media, digital signage and everything related – before they hit the streets.

Who attends? In short, anyone who sells or buys the equipment and services that are vital to the communication of information to people in a business or institutional setting.
InfoComm is the venue to see audiovisual, electronic and information communications products, systems and services.
