March 2008 Letter To The Editor
Throughout various stages in my career, I have relied on several "go-to" guides as references. As a journalism student and, later, community newspaper intern, I lived by the A.P. Stylebook, a staple on the desks of writers and editors everywhere. As a food editorial assistant for a Southern lifestyle magazine, I was never far from the Food Lover's Companion for ready answers when a harried cook called in with questions. In my capacity as an assistant editor for a book publisher, I hung on to my copies of the Kirkus Reviews seasonal book previews. That said, I hope that our annual Buyer's Guide is your "go-to" resource as a church leader for all of the products and services you need for your worship facility. It's packed full of the manufacturers and suppliers that provide resources for you to efficiently and effectively operate, organized by both company names and categories. Our 2008 Buyer's Guide is the largest yet, with more than 1,300 companies in 170 categories. In fact, to make sure that the guide is always evolving to best meet your needs, we have added 12 categories since last year's edition, including Equipment Leasing, Promotional Materials, and Furniture Refinishing. It's an issue that I hope you turn to again and again throughout the year to help you in your purchasing decisions. Remember, too, that the complete guide is available on our Web site at www.rpnmag.com. On another note, if you're like me, you're reading blogs these days, both on a personal and professional level. There's a plethora of bloggers out there devoted to any and every subject imaginable. I'm interested in hearing which church-related blogs you read on a regular basis. Let me know at jill@rpnmag.com. God Bless, Jill Pinheiro |
