Custom Play Area Entices Visitors and Creates New Opportunities to Attract Families

Guests and members of Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana, will find themselves playing on a one-of-a-kind lighthouse slide; hanging out at the beach while an airplane piloted by an alligator, sea gulls, and hot air balloons are soaring above; or traveling the underwater tunnels exploring a variety of sea creatures and coral.

Worlds of WOW, a leader in creating destinations for children at church, unveiled its newest adventure with the opening of TK’s Place, the exciting addition to Trinity Baptist’s children ministry.

The company designed the combination of a custom themed environment and children’s play area to create a truly amazing experience for kids of all ages.

Worlds of WOW’s spiritually focused team drew on their 30 years of combined experience to create a beach themed play environment.

Sand castles, fish and other underwater creatures serve as the backdrop to this magical adventure. Families will journey through a maze of murals and larger-than-life creatures as they experience this one-of-a-kind destination.

“TK’s Place is a unique facility that will simply make your jaw drop and say WOW,” said Dawn Brand, preschool minister at Trinity Baptist Church. “Worlds of WOW created this amazing environment that will help our children’s ministry attract families throughout the lake area. There is nothing like this in Southwest Louisiana.”

The two-story spiral slide allows kids to travel from the second floor above into a larger-than-life soft sculpted foam play area below. Here, kids can scale a giant octopus, slide down the back of a massive whale, ride the playful shark, and climb the enormous lighthouse slide.
“Our innovative approach of incorporating custom themed environments and play structures into one massive play area will help Trinity Baptist Church broaden its appeal to the community, increase its membership, and create the ultimate teaching opportunity for children to learn about God,” said Reagan Hillier, president at Worlds of WOW.
Officially opened to the public March 14, 2010, TK’s Place is the newest addition to Trinity Baptist children’s ministry designed for preschoolers through fifth grade to learn about God in a safe environment.
