Hobart’s New AM Select Dishwasher
Hobart has introduced the next generation of the most durable and reliable door-type warewasher in the industry. The new AM Select not only cleans and sanitizes dishware, but is NSF-certified for heavily soiled ware including pots and pans. The result is significant labor savings and reduced cost of operation. Hobart’s AM Select is currently the only standard door-type machine to achieve the stringent NSF guidelines for utensil washing. This certification means that pots and pans can be washed automatically instead of being scrubbed by hand. With adjustable cycle times of one, two, four and six minutes, the operator can wash anything from delicate glassware to soiled utensils. To address critical food safety and sanitation concerns, the AM Select is available with the patented Sense-A-Temp booster heater. The Sense-A-Temp technology senses the temperature of the water in the booster to make sure it’s at 180º F. before the rinse cycle begins. The AM Select Series includes standard height, tall and front-loading models and are available in either electric or gas tank heat.

DrumKit System from Earthworks
Earthworks announces the DrumKit System, which can provide a better drum sound with three microphones than with seven or more quality microphones on a drum set. To prove the point, the DrumKit System brochure has a Demo CD inside so you can hear the comparisons. Proprietary Earthworks technology provides microphones that will capture full percussive attacks and minute details that other microphones mask. One must hear it to believe it. The DrumKit System utilizes new 25kHz microphones designed specifically for percussion, and it comes in two versions. The DK25/R is for “recording” with two TC25 omnis for overheads and an SR25 cardioid for kick drum. The DK25/L “live performance” model comes with two SR25 cardioids for overheads and an SR25 for kick drum. The DrumKit System comes in an attractive solid wood carrying case with velvet lining.

Church Membership Directory from Software for Ministry
Software for Ministry’s 2005 version of its flagship church membership system, The Church Membership Directory, contains a number of new features to its already extensive feature set. Designed to work in churches of virtually any size, on a single computer or on a network, “CMD” continues to grow in response to user suggestions. The Personal Church Directory is a small external program that may be distributed on CD to church members to provide an “electronic church directory.”   The Lookup is a smaller, scaled-down version of the main CMD program that can be left running on your Windows Taskbar and called up whenever you need to quickly look up a name, address, phone number, print a mailing label or envelope, etc. The Kiosk is an even smaller program, designed for use at a front office desk or kiosk in the lobby of your church so that limited information (similar to the PCD above) can be available for a quick lookup. And, Date Flags can be set to pop up a dialog when the program first starts up to flag you on any of the CMD’s eight date fields.
